A Tunisian restaurant in the Lyon region of France. Known in its neighbourhood by word of mouth, unknown everywhere else. No Facebook page. No Instagram account. No digital presence of any kind.
The Situation : A Local Restaurant With Strong Cuisine and No Digital Presence
Tanit Saint-Fons is a Tunisian restaurant in the Lyon region of France. The food speaks for itself. Regulars come back. The neighbourhood knows the place by name.
None of that existed online.
No Facebook page. No Instagram account. No visual identity adapted for digital. A restaurant that had built its reputation entirely through word of mouth had zero presence on the platforms where new customers decide where to eat. The audience (local diners, Tunisian diaspora in the Lyon area, anyone searching for lunch nearby) had no way to find Tanit Saint-Fons before walking past it.
The Diagnosis: The Audience Existed. The Brand Was Invisible to It.
The problem was not that Tanit Saint-Fons lacked followers. Followers are a result, not a starting point. The problem was that a restaurant with a loyal neighbourhood following had no recognisable identity online before the customer arrived. No visual language. No content rhythm. No reason for someone scrolling Facebook or Instagram to stop, recognise the brand, and want the dish.
A restaurant sells a table, not a post. But the post is what makes someone want the table. Without a designed digital identity (a visual system, a content strategy, a reason to follow) the restaurant’s reach was limited to whoever happened to walk past or hear about it secondhand.
One Restaurant Identity Across Facebook and Instagram.
From January 2022 to March 2026, we built and managed the complete social media presence for Tanit Saint-Fons across Facebook and Instagram. both accounts created from zero, both grown through consistent content and design over four years.
Page Launch & Visual Identity
Created both the Facebook and Instagram accounts from scratch. Designed the digital visual identity: profile assets, cover imagery, post templates, and a consistent design language adapted for a Tunisian restaurant in a French market. Every visual asset was designed to feel local, warm, and immediately recognisable as Tanit Saint-Fons.
Daily Content System
The daily special (the Plat du Jour) became the backbone of the content strategy. Designed, photographed or styled, and posted consistently. Each post was a reason to visit today, not a generic brand reminder. The content rhythm matched the restaurant’s rhythm: lunch service drives the business, so the content drives lunch decisions.
Seasonal & Interactive Campaigns
Beyond the daily cadence: seasonal campaigns tied to Tunisian culinary traditions and French calendar moments, plus interactive formats(polls, guess-the-dish posts, community questions) designed to build a neighbourhood audience that engages, not just follows. Facebook built the local community. Instagram built the appetite and the brand identity.
Four Years. Two Platforms. Built From Zero.
About 5,000 Facebook followers built from zero. a local community audience grown post by post over four years of consistent social media management.
About 4,000 Instagram followers built from zero. a visual brand identity for Tanit Saint-Fons that did not exist before January 2022.
Four years of continuous social media management from January 2022 to March 2026. Content strategy, digital design, and community engagement sustained across both platforms without interruption.
